Terry has a background in secretarial and office management having worked as an executive assistant for a hi-tech communications company, honed her writing and editing technical documents skill while supporting the product management group. Terry took a “break” to raise six children during which time she worked as a library assistant and web site developer at the local elementary school. Terry re-entered the corporate world as an executive assistant to a healthcare foundation Executive Vice President, eventually managing the Raiser’s Edge donor database.
Terry is able to interact with people in a positive, empathetic and compassionate way which allows her to understand what they need. She is able to tackle whatever task is given to her with enthusiasm and a desire to exceed expectations.
As a Chicago native, you can usually find Terry and her husband Bill at the movies on a Saturday morning, or out in the local music venues on weekends watching their youngest daughter perform as a singer/songwriter. Terry loves to be surrounded by her children and grandchildren every chance she gets, and she typically has her nose in a book and crochet project in her lap.
